Grissom knew what she was trying to do, he loved her all the more for it. He knew that she naturally rebelled against anyone trying to tell her how to live her life, but he could see that she was trying to let him feel like he had at least some impact. She wanted him to feel part of the pregnancy, even if it meant giving up some of her independence.
